Bishop Dwight Earl Williams has been a Public Servant and Community Change Agent for decades. He has held numerous positions of leadership on the local , regional, state and national levels. Among some of his past and current positions includes Vice President of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce,Former Member and Vice Chairman of the City of Stockton Planning Commission, former Chaplain with the Stockton Police Department and President of the Tri Valley Pastors and Ministers Fellowship. He currently serves as the Chairman of The San Joaquin County Commission on Aging, Former Chairman of The City of Stockton Measure A Citizens Advisory Committee, Chairperson of the San Joaquin County Children Services Coordinating Commission , Chairman of the San Joaquin County Republican Party and Vice President of the Ministerial Alliance of the San Joaquin Valley and President of The California Senior Alliance.
Educational Background
Bishop Williams brings years of experience to the table that help him be a effective leader. He holds a Associate of Biblical Studies degree and a Bachelor of Theology degree from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College. Pastor Williams also brings years of consistent public policy research and community experience. He also holds a Honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College for years of pastoral service. Dr. Williams also brings over 20 years of community service to which he was awarded a Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from The Christian University of Southern Indiana. Bishop Williams also received in July 2024 a Honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from The Christian University of Southern Indiana.
